Craigburn Primary School has the opportunity to enter teams in the SANFL Gather Round Schools Football Competition. Before we register, we need to gauge interest to see whether we have enough players (and volunteers) to form teams.
Competition format: 9-a-side
Teams: boys’ and girls’ teams are separate
Year levels: Years 3/4. Years 5/6
When: Mondays, scheduled between 4:00–6:00pm.
Where: Kenilworth Oval, St Marys
Duration: 5 weeks
Starts: 23 February 2026
Finishes: 30 March 2026
Cost: $300 per team (around $35 per player based on 9 players — final cost depends on team numbers)
Coaches needed: We will need parent volunteers to coach/manage teams.
