We warmly invite you to our Acquaintance Evening on Tuesday 10 February, 5:30–7:00pm.
At Craigburn, we know children thrive when home and school work closely together. This relaxed, friendly evening is a chance to reconnect (or meet for the first time), step into your child’s learning space, and build those important relationships early in the year.
Your child will take the lead on the night, proudly sharing their ‘learning voice’ by showing you around their classroom and introducing you to their teacher. It’s a simple but powerful way to see where they learn each day and hear what they’re most excited about for the year ahead.
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet our specialist teachers from Physical Education, Performing Arts, German, Science, Technology, and our School Garden. These programs add so much to students’ learning, and our team will be happy to say hello and share what’s happening in their areas.
To help everyone settle in, we’re inviting families to arrive from 5:00pm for a sausage sizzle (including gluten-free and vegetarian options) and refreshments. Classrooms will be open from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
We hope you can join us for this special start-of-year event and another chance to strengthen the wonderful Craigburn community.
