A big thank you to all the families who came along to our Acquaintance Evening last Tuesday.

It was terrific to see so many students proudly showing their classrooms and learning spaces, and to watch families take the time to connect with teachers and staff.

A special acknowledgement to our class and specialist teachers, library and OSHC teams, and our front office staff for warmly welcoming families and opening up their learning and work spaces for the evening.

Well done to all students who confidently led their parents through the school, explained what they’ve been learning, and helped make everyone feel welcome. You should be very proud of the way you represented our school.

Thank you also to everyone who helped run (and enjoyed!) the sausage sizzle, which raised valuable funds for this year’s Pedal Prix team.

Reminder: Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Monday 16th February 2026

Library Lovers Week

It’s National Library Lovers Week this week, a time to celebrate our school library.

This week reminds us that libraries are welcoming spaces where stories are shared, curiosity is encouraged, and everyone belongs.

Our school library is more than shelves of books. It’s a calm and caring space to read for pleasure, explore interests, learn together, and feel supported.

During Library Lovers Week, we invite students and their families to come in and enjoy our library space before school 8:30-8:50am or after school 3:10 – 3:45pm, Monday 16th, Wednesday 18th & Friday 20th, share a story, and show the love for our library by leaving a message of support or providing suggestions for how we can improve the library space.

Reminder – Cover/Connect – Friday 20/2, Library, 9:00 – 10:30am.

Upcoming Student Free Day – Friday 6 March

On our upcoming Student Free Day (Friday 6 March), staff will come together for our first whole-school professional learning day with the Berry Street Education Model. This session will focus on strengthening our consistent, school-wide wellbeing and engagement practices that help create calm, safe and productive classrooms for every learner.

This professional learning will include:

  • Building Relational Classrooms – strengthening connection, belonging and positive relationships.

  • Creating Calm and Ready-to-Learn Spaces – practical strategies and routines that support self-regulation and engagement.

  • Whole-School Consistency – aligning our language, expectations and approaches so students experience a consistent environment across the school.

School Sports – Soccer and Netball

Craigburn Primary School has a proud history of successful after-school sports programs, run by dedicated volunteer parents. 2. RRHAN-EC Online Induction

    • Understand the responsibilities of your volunteer role as part of an induction with relevant school personnel (e.g., a classroom teacher for class support).

  4. Volunteer Agreement

    • Sign the Department for Education Volunteer Agreement form, which outlines the school’s and volunteer’s responsibilities.

  5. Working with Children Check (WWCC)
